OUR PROJECTS
Streamworks Plumbing has delivered water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure projects across South East Queensland — from schools and apartment developments to sites with complex access and disruption constraints. Below are a few recent projects showcasing our range of construction methods, from trenchless tunnel boring to live night works.
Water, Sewer & Stormwater Infrastructure Projects
01
Walloon State School — Fire & Domestic Water Service Upgrade

Streamworks Plumbing delivered a fire and domestic water service upgrade for Walloon State School, supplying and installing a 100mm fire water meter alongside a 50mm domestic connection using MSCL and DICL pipe. With the site's main road also serving RAAF Base Amberley, a road shutdown for open-cut works simply wasn't an option — so the team carried out the installation via tunnel boring, a trenchless method that kept the road open and avoided any disruption to base access.

Brisbane Girls Grammar School — Fire & Domestic Water Service Upgrade

Streamworks Plumbing delivered a fire and domestic water service upgrade for Brisbane Girls Grammar School, supplying and installing fire and domestic water connections using PE pipe. Unlike sites where trenchless methods are viable, this project required an open-cut road excavation. To avoid disrupting students during school hours, the live connection was carried out at night, keeping the site fully operational for children during the day.

Jardinia Apartments, yeronga — Stormwater, Sewer & Water
Main Upgrade

Streamworks Plumbing delivered a multi-service infrastructure upgrade at Jardinia Apartments across stormwater, sewer, and water main works. The stormwater scope included a full upgrade of the Brisbane City Council trunk main, with new manholes installed in the road corridor and across easements. On the sewer side, the team carried out a renewal of Urban Utilities infrastructure across the entire site, including over 300 metres of sewer pipe and manholes in both the verge and road corridor. For the water main, Streamworks delivered a fire and domestic water service to supply the apartments via open cut of the road corridor, with the live connection completed as night works to allow minimal disruption to residents.
